I have been working with dogs and cats since 2010. I started out as a doggie daycare attendant at a daycare/grooming/boarding facility in the Salt Lake Valley. I was quickly moved to daycare manager, but I was always enamored with the groomers at our facility. The one-on-one connection they had with dogs and the way they made a work of art out of a scruffy pup had me hooked.
After one and a half years of intensive, one-on-one training, I finally became a full time groomer. From then on, I have always tried to continue my education through accredited associations and seminars with industry leaders.

Hi there! My name is Leila and I’ve been professionally working with my biggest passion for 5 years now- dogs! I have been a kennel technician/supervisor/bather in a variety of daycare + boarding facilities across Salt Lake and Boise. I have worked with multiple breeds, species, temperaments, and have an established understanding of dog behavior inside and out.
In my free time, I have 4 dogs of my own who keep me entertained! I have a soft spot for all herding breeds, I have 3 of them plus a whippet. My main goal with my own dogs is to keep their brains and bodies nourished- so we do tons of enrichment and working towards titles in dog sports! We are also avid hikers and love enjoying Utah’s forests!
I am immensely thrilled for this opportunity with Alaina to further advance my skills and branch out into a new area of dog/cat care. Bathing was always my favorite position at previous facilities, and I have been aspiring to pursue grooming for years. Building relationships with dogs takes patience and compassion, and I have always been focused on providing quality care while ensuring comfortability.
I can’t wait to learn the processes of what it takes to be an exceptional and knowledgeable groomer, especially in such an intimate environment. I know with Alaina’s expertise and guidance, this is a perfect path to be on. I’m excited to establish a one-on-one relationship with each and every one of you, plus your pup!
